As a nonagenarian Army veteran, I do not like to see Mexican flags represented at a peaceful California protest. American grievances are protected by the U.S. Constitution’s Bill of Rights involving free speech and the right to peaceful assembly, not by Mexican allegiance. Use the ballot box if you are an American citizen, otherwise take your Mexican-displayed protest into Mexico.

I would like to see the Border Patrol accost Mexican-flag-draped protesters, and, if they are here illegally, deport them.
