PUBLISHED:

Pacific Beach residents can show their appreciation for the San Diego Police Department by displaying a sign in their yard.

The signs say “Our community appreciates our police.”

Residents can pick up a sign for free at the Pacific Beach Town Council general meetings, said Marcella Teran, the Pacific Beach and Mission Beach Neighborhood Watch coordinator.

The council’s next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 14 at Crown Point Junior Music Academy, 4033 Ingraham Street. For other meeting dates, visit pbtowncouncil.org.
