Bob McClellan, Steve Goble and Ben Kalasho have secured the three seats on the El Cajon City Council after all 62 precincts were counted Wednesday morning.

McClellan, a retired businessman, had the most votes with roughly 15 percent.

“I’ve been on the council for a while and it’s something that I hope to continue and it looks good at this time,” McClellan said Tuesday.

Goble, a small business owner, garnered 13 percent of the votes with Kalasho, president of the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce following closely behind.

Other El Cajon City Council candidates included appointed council member Star Bales; nonprofit executive director Vickie Knight Butcher; small business owner Humbert Cabrera; operations supervisor Paul Circo; special education teacher Joseph R. Fountain; businessman and IT manager George V. Glover; and parent Stephanie L. Harper.
